Trail Guy -- Photo Gallery
For my main trail website go to     www.trailguy.com

1.  This  website is devoted to presenting photographs of trails and trail related topics .... Bob's experiences, pure and simple.
(since my diagnosis with multiple myeloma cancer in Oct. 2010, I have not cycled much and website has not been updated. (April 2012)

2.  The project for summer 2008 was mapping a "Elmira to Port Dover" cycle route via trails. See Oct. 21 ppt presenation for update.

I have now cycled, photographed and mapped the entire route, about 170 km.
This route has the potential  be a wonderful tourist attraction for the many cyclists who want a new experience.
But, existing route conditions range from paved trail segments, busy streets in Kitchener, and much of the route poorly signed.
Norfolk County has constructed a stonedust trail from Jenkins Rd. to the newly converted bridge in Waterford (2011), the last remaining gap.

To view the route you must use 3 of the above tabs:  {1} Waterloo Region TCT,  +  [2] Cambridge to Brantford,  +   {3} Brantford-Port Dover.
Perhaps during the winter, there will be time to combine the route into one page.

Remember to 'click' on each thumbnail photo to see the larger version!

Photo on left of myself at mile 20 on the Old Dominion trail in Virginia ..... at Herndon(2006).
It was an incredibly hot day on a wonderful trail .... stopped here for a cool  DQ and rest, but will return to finish the route into Washington, DC.
